I regard myself primarily as a songwriter who plays guitar and sings. I don't write in any particular genre, ranging through folk, blues, rock, and occasionally country, and all my songs originate from my personal experience. I've never been a fan of slick production and studio trickery like pitch correction, and in my recordings I aim for a raw, unadorned, warts and all sound that is as close to live performance as possible.
